Itinerary for 6 Days /5 Nights
Day 1 : Arrival and Rolous Group and Small Circuit :
Arrive in the morning : Meet you at the airport and transfer to hotel, Then head to Rolous Group to explore three temples in the ancient city in 800 AD such as Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei. Afternoon : Tour to explore the temples in the Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan (Cardamon sanctuary), Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple) Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. Overnight Siem Reap.
Day 2 : South Gate of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat
After breakfast head to Angkor Wat. Explore this majestic temple through out the morning while it is still cool and has fewer tourists. In the afternoon head to Angkor Thom, the famous walled city and see many temples in its border, including the fascinating Bayon temple with its many magnificent faces smiling out and Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King and then Phnom Bakheng Hill for sunset. Overnight Siem Reap.
Day 3 : Banteay Srei and Grand Circuit
In the morning set off to Banteay Srei, the intricately caved temple about 30 km beyond Angkor Wat on the way back we have a stop to see Banteay Samre.
Afternoon visit Grand Circuit including Pre Rup (Change the body) East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan. Overnight Siem Reap.
Day 4: Beng Mealea and floating village
After breakfast head to Beng Mealea the ruined jungle temple about 60km from siem Reap. Afternoon head out to floating village and boat trip on Tonle Sap Great Lake. Overnight Siem Reap.
Day 5: Kulen mountain
Morning full day tour to Holy mountain of Phnom Kulen visit Liga carving, a legacy of the God-kings who ruled Cambodia in the ninth century, One of the eight water sources, Sleeping Buddha, and the Waterfall of Phnom Kulen. Return back to Siem Reap. Overnight Siem Reap.
Day 6: Silk Farm, Shopping and Departure
Morning we make a tour the local village to enjoy the real activities of the village people who fight for their living in the rice paddies then continue to the Silk Farm where you can see the production of hand woven silks, created using the traditional ‘ikat’ method. Here visitors can see the entire process of producing silk, right from the growing of mulberry leaves, its harvesting and breeding of silk worms. The spinning of silk from cocoons and the dyeing process are also very interesting to watch. On the way back, we explore the art center of Artisans d’Angkor where we can observe students learning traditional carving and finishing techniques and then we do some shopping
